Outlook Express is the most famous softwear for e-mail. This kind of programms enable recieving, composing and sending e-mails from single computer wether it is at home or at office. This is important to know because there is one more way for managing your e-mails - via WebMail . e-mail parameters settings for Outlook ExpressStart Outlook Express. From Tools menu choose option Accounts. You will get Internet Accounts windows as it is shown on the picture below.  Click Add button and choose option Mail. You will get Internet Connection Wizard windows (picture below)  Now, you are required to enter your name and surname. This information is part of every e-mail message and it tells recipient from whom the e-mail has come. Choose Next.  Type in your e-mail address. E-mail address consist of user name, universal simbol @ and extension which represent your domain name on Internet. E-mails and Internet addresses don't consist blank spaces and they are wrriten with small caps. You have to take care of these things because if you make mistake with caps and blank spaces e-mail address will be incorect. In our case, if mr. Jova Jovanovi? had firm Jovanovi? d.o.o., then his domain on Internet could be for example www.jovanovic.com. His e-mail address could be This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it (username: jovan, universal simbol @ and extension jovanovic.com). Choose Next. Next step is to type in server address for incoming (POP3 Server -Post Office Protocol Server) and outgoing mail (SMTP Server -Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Server) in form as it is shown on picture below.
It is important to know that e-mail server addresses could be diferent but they represent the very same address of incoming/outgoing server. For example mail.jovanovic.com and pop3.jovanovic.com The easyest way to resolve this confusion is to enter parameters which you got from your hosting company or to contact support. Choose Next. In Account field enter your username and in Password field enter your password. These parametes you got from Housting company.  Choose Next. You have successfully created you user account.  To save these settings click Finish. |
